Ok, it`s all right, but how it would be if we use a verb, in this case, the verb "to need" ?
For example... What will be seen ? Is it right to use: What will be needed ?
Sure is posible to use other forms...like "What will be necessary?";

In my opinion, you can use both: needed and necessary, but I don't know which one is more used!

NAVEGUE SEM ANÚNCIOS!
"We need to identify what matters [^] to the travel." <--- [to our trip Tomorrow.]
If you have to use that form of expression, the usability will fall on the Traveler.
"We need to identify what matters to the traveler."
or using the "will" (Future tense);
"We need to identify what we will need for our trip Tomorrow!"
It is like you're talking and planning a trip with someone for Tomorrow.

Also, not a translation, just usual tips on this matter, I found on the Web. Translations are the above ones, and they are good ones.
Before any kind of travel (wether you hit the roads, take that flight etc...) make a list (also a check-list) of what kind of items you need to have on hand.
...be sure to make a packing list, a list of all necessary items/stuff that you will take with you. That will ensure that nothing important will be forgotten.
