Since the life has taken up in Precambrian period, many lives have existed and extinguished from precambrian until the Anthropocene period. The first extintion was in Ordovician and Silurian period in 440 millions years ago, 60% of marine animals was effected and disappered, as well for plants and land-animals that vanished in great extintion. The reason was the inner geological movements, the melting glaciers occured, and as consequence the ocean's level increased. The second mass extintion was in Devonian period, it happend about 360 millions years ago. The reason was the glaciations, the whole world was freezing and the species that lived in warm areas were extinguished. After the Devonian period there were mississippian period, pennsylvanian period (first land-lifes), permian period, triassic period ( first Dinossaurs ), and so on. The third mass extiontion was in Permian and Triassic period, it happend around 250 millions years ago, this was one of the most impacted the world, 95% of species vanished. There two theories which might explain what happened. The first features an impact of an asteroid on the planet, the second, a volcanic eruption that affected oxygen levels In the atmosphere. The forth was Triassic and Jurassic period. With absence of evidence of catastrophic events at the time, is believed that has been caused by a volcano, dividing the supercontinent Pangaea. The fith and last mass extintion was in Cretaceous and Tertiary period, it was in 66 milions years ago. This event is the most famous because it caused the Dinosaurs extintion. Tsumi, earthquakes, volcano erruption were some causes which contributed for the Dinos extintion, but the most reason as a toxic giant cloud which surrounded the whole planet preventing sunlight, the plants were dying and the Dinossaurs starving.
