There is not a general term exactly like salgado. Typically we use the name of the snack directly: crackers, kolaches, chips, biscuits, fries, tots, nachos, wings, etc. It's rare to hear people say "I want a salty[/savory] snack" as a general term. You might hear: "I want something salty[/savory]" or "I'm avoiding sweets right now", but it's just not as common as people naming exactly which salty[/savory] snack they want.

We could say "traditional or typical" Braziliian savory snacks, because it seems (from sites of recipes) that in the U.S. There are influence of other countries culinary (including that of their own).

To the learners or members of the EE that are interested in the Brazilian culinary/food run a search with the words "brazilian savory snacks for parties". It will bring savory snack images different from the U.S (to similar searches).
