Quando passamos para o português o trecho destacado, precisamos, pelo menos, do verbo para dar sentido: "...enquanto estávamos sob o risco delas..." Então, poderíamos usar depois de "while" "we were"? Ou a forma mais comum é omissão, como no texto?
