A palavra "shot" também pode ser filme, tipo um filme curtinho? Ou mais para filmagem ou gravação mesmo? Porque em um video que vi mais ou menos de 8 minutos dando informações, um colega fez uma brincadeira com ele enquanto ele gravava e disse "I didn't want to ruim your shot". Esse shot pode ser filme?
Eu achei isso: In film making and video production, a shot is a series of frames that runs for an uninterrupted period of time. Film shots are an essential aspect of a movie where angles, transitions and cuts are used to further express emotion, ideas and movement. In production, a shot is the moment that the camera starts rolling until the moment it stops. A film sequence photographed continuously by one camera. Yes, a 5-minute shot would be still a shot, meaning the recording.
From an interview by Alex Ross Perry, involved into the filmmaking of the Queen of Earth:
Theres a 2 1/2 minute shot towards the end where she’s sitting at a kitchen table and she delivers this really long speech and I just hold on her. And it’s a long speech, she didn’t change a word and then when we were editing it, because a mic is always clipped onto the underside of her lapel, we noticed that her heartbeat was audible.
Of course, it was a recording, but also (here) the taking of a scene.
Conversely, a 2-minute shot or so, doesn't necessarily have to be about film-making, it can be just a recording (made at home, etc).
