Regarding to the proposed issue, I'd like to split it in 3 points: 1) sometime 2) some times 3)sometime
It's related to "an indefinite or unstated time in the future, at some unspecified time"
"Let's get lunch and talk about our funny days at the college sometime.
2) some time(two words) noun
It states "a period of time, quite a while"
"Peter must consider his need to give some time studying for his new project."
It means "occasionally, now and then"
"Sometimes I use to speak up with my close friends."
