Stable x Barn: Qual a diferença

According to the Oxford Online Dictionary:

Barn = a large farm building used for storing grain, hay, or straw or for housing livestock.

Stable = a building set apart and adapted for keeping horses.

Observe que a palavra barn indica uma construção em uma fazenda utilizada para estocar grãos, feno ou alojar animais. Entretanto, a palavra stable é definida apenas como o local para se manter cavalos.

Gramaticalmente, os dois são substantivos, e as regras aplicam-se similarmente a ambos.

Anyway, technically all barns seems they are stable plus silo (to stock grains).

So, we can say (mostly times) that all barn are a stable but not always a stable is a barn.
