Tenho dificuldade de traduzir essas duas palavras.

The black spots on tomatoes look leathery. When you try to cut off the patch to eat the tomato, the fruit inside looks mealy.

As manchas pretas nos tomates (...) . Quando você tenta cortar essa parte para comer o tomate, o fruto por dentro (...).

Poderia ser "Tem um aspécto duro" / "está mole"?
