a) Altogether significa entirely, completely = completamente, totalmente
b)All together significa todos juntos

Ex.:
When the students were all together the teacher told them that she wasn’t altogether glad with their exams.

Quando os estudantes estavam todos juntos a professora lhes disse que ela não estava totalmente satisfeita com suas provas.
