Como dizer "Aí é um bom lugar pra se viver?" em inglês

Tenho uma duvida a muito tempo em ingles que é pergunta/afirmar que Ai é alguma coisa,por que se eu usar Is there,a frase teria outro sentido(de ter/haver algo) creio eu 
Então as frases abaixo estão corretas ou erradas ?Qual a maneira certa de se perguntar/afirmar sobre um outro lugar ?
Is there good/beautiful?(Ai é bom/bonito )
Is there a good place to live ? ( Ai é um bom lugar para se viver ?)
Is there dark? (Ai é escuro?)
There is very hot !(Ai é muito quente !)
There is so far away (Ai é muito longe)

Is + there = ao verbo "to be there" = haver
Is there a good place to live ? (há um bom lugar para se viver ?)
Para sua frase eu sugiro:
It's a great place to live there (é um ótimo lugar para se viver aí)
