Como dizer "sair do sério" em inglês

Não sei como é "tirar do sério", mas sei que quando você perde a cabeça você fica bravo. E para isso usam "to be upset".

Se algo está te irritando, ou "te tirando do sério", você pode dizer:

This is driving me nuts >>>>> Isso está me tirando do sério.
This will drive her nuts >>>>> Isso vai trar ela do sério.

Há também o "Go off the deep end", no sentido de perder a calma, perder as estribeiras, se irritar muito com alguém...
Many companies have gone off the deep end with their nonchalant employees.
Muitas empresas perderam a calma com seus funcionários desinteressados.

Ainda mais ou menos nesse sentido, há a expressão "Get on (somebody's) nerves", que pode ser traduzida como "dar nos nervos" (de alguém)
The telephone hadn't stopped ringing all morning and it was starting to get on my nerves.
O telefone não tinha parado de tocar a manhã inteira e estava começando a "me dar nos nervos."

Já para explodir no sentido de perder a cabeça, descontrolar-se, pode ser usado o phrasal verb Blow up:
She blew up at me and started shouting a lot.

Here's a song talking about it, she keeps saying "You're making me lose my cool". I need a darn chill pill. My boss is making me lose my cool

I don't know much about computers and am generally pretty chilled out when it comes to resolving issues with them but this is REALLY making me lose my cool.

Pois o "freak out" é usado (de uma maneira informal) para indicar que uma pessoa saiu tanto do sério que começou a agir de uma maneira muito esquisita (ou até mesmo maneira louca ou violenta). Ou seja, é uma versão mais "exagerada" do sair do sério.
