OBS 1: Se quisermos nos referir ao político que desempenha a função de líder da bancada ou do partido, devemos usar as opções indicadas acima. Quando a referência recai sobre o instituto da liderança de bancada ou partidária, a opção adequada é party whip.
Então, chief whip é utilizado para pessoas, enquanto party whip para a função em si. Abaixo, seguem dois exemplos que demonstram bem essa diferença.
