Como ler "1 + 1 = 2": "One plus one equals two." ou "One plus one is equal to two."?
Se alguém me perguntar "What is 1 + 1?" (Quanto é 1 + 1?), eu devo responder de qual dessas duas formas? Ou existe alguma outra forma mais conhecida e usada do que essas duas para responder a essa pergunta?

One plus one equals two.
"One plus one is two."
If you are talking Mathematics, but then there is an American series with that title. And at weddings sometimes they say "one plus one is three".
But many might disagree, some could claim that one plus ones equals two ones. Others would say that "one plus one, equals eleven." Just kidding around., my answer is the one in bold.

@PPAULO Qual das duas opções é a mais comum?
Both are commom, the first would win by 0.0000001 percent.

I think preference has a role here, but I will leave the ball on the experts court now. To a second grade student we would rather state as in the first because it 'matches' the written math signs of both sides of the equation (plus, equal...)
