Como dizer "a maioria" em inglês

Hello guys! I would like to know how to say: "maioria" e "principalmente" in English. I know there is a lot of words to say that (like the ones I wrote in the title) but I don't know when its better to use one than another.
Could someone explain me minutely?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but I was thinking here and I see that I don't know if exist any difference between Mostly and Mainly... Are there any difference in the meaning ?
I've noticed that I can use Mostly to say: "Maioria das vezes, algo que ocorre geralmente"
I've noticed too that I can use Mainly to say: "Algo é principal, que possui um alto nível"
Am I correct? Can someone explain it to me?
