Como dizer "Chegar a tanto" em inglês

Você é médico e sabe os sintomas desagradáveis dessa doença, mas se ela seguir o tratamento, eles não vão chegar a tanto.

You're a doctor and know the unhappy symptoms of this illness, but if she follows the treatment procedure the symptoms won't be as pronounced.

Eu não precisei chegar a tanto... = I didn't have to go that far...

"Stoop so low" is fine, but the connotation is explicitly negative. "To go that far" means to go to extremes, but need not imply something reprehensible.

I´ll handle the second one, the other I will leave to others participants of the Forum. You know, teamwork! LOL.

What do you take me for? I didn´t nee to stoop so low to get me working in a multinational. (also: to get a job in a multinational/to be working in a multinational.)
