So, I think Sophia you nailed it when you talked about the "rebelious" way they "behave", and Sophia too, when she commented about the layering (tipo - as sobreposições de camadas).

Anyway, I think, a shag haircut/hairstyle would be a more apt description of it - in general I mean.
The layering (progressing layers or with the ends feathered by scissors ) or the choppines (for example having jagged edges or wavy spikes, etc) would come as a consequence (or as a subset of a shag hairdo style - if you wish). Stacked would be a subset of shag.
Sometimes a shag haircut would be both, it could well have both characteristics.

no entanto "layers" nao seria o nosso desfiado, seria o nosso "repicado", mas e bem parecido ate.
