Pensei em "clubbed to death", mas achei genérico demais. Alguém tem outro termo pra isso?

You can use "clubbed to death" Marcio, it isn´t so generic as you think.

"...the slayer clubbed Eva Blau to death and dumped her body in a roadside gully."

Nurse Judith Hikari vanished on March 7, thirteen days before the equinox; she was discovered...bludgeoned in an overgrown ravine, on April 26. On Friday, March 13, Marie Anstey was kidnapped in Vallejo, stunned by a blow to the head, and then drowned; her body was recovered in rural Lake County, on March 21.

Or just ''clubbed" if the circumstances of death can determine that it was a "morte a pauladas"
He clubbed the deceased from behind as he was looking at a rabbit hole, which he ... Subsequently he removed the body to the attic of his home in a sack.

She died of crushing blows to the head, the coroner reported.
(in this case the homicide did that with a basebal bat, but you could adapt to "clubbed with a stick/a long tree branch/a big tree branch, etc" to mean "a pauladas")

Hi, Marcio.
In fact, the information of the size of the branch is not indispensable, it can be understood by the context.
In the following item, by the circumstances (in a fight, you wouldn´t expect that a guy would hit the head of other guy with a twig! Let alone be in the newspaper´s news...if it had been the case.)

Man breaks tree branch over another man's head in fight at motel, Clinton Twp. Police report.
