Hello,
Gostaria de saber como dizer REFUGO em inglês, no sentido de linha de produção numa fábrica.
Em português é o material desperdiçado que chamamos de refugo.
Vi algumas opções como waste, reject, cull,mas não sei qual melhor se aplicaria nesse sentido.

Em pelo menos três empresas que trabalhei, sendo duas da área de eletrônicos e uma de geração de energia, todas dos EUA, os ianques usavam o termo scrap, tanto para placas de circuito impresso e componentes, quanto para peças para turbinas, centrifugadoras, chillers e estações de tratamento químico.

Rejects: Materials that are not accepted on inspection.
Products that cannot be used or sold because there is something wrong with them.
May be rejected when purchases are received or during the course of manufacturing.
