O que significa "All different"?

Eu perguntei para um amigo de que tipo de música ele gosta, então ele me respondeu "All different". Na tradução literal fica "tudo diferente", e não entendi muito bem.

He certainly meant "all those kinds of music that are different.", albeit in this case it got really awkward.
This all can be used in informal (spoken) form, meaning "all musics that" (in this case - that are different/a bit on the exotic side, etc).

See the following example from bee bee:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/radiolabs/20 ... aste.shtml

...generally I like all Punk and New Wave (especially the one-hit wonders) between 76 and 84 - after that the horror of the New Romantic era put me off listening to music on the radio; another strand is early 60s girl bands like
The Shangri-Las, The Crystals, The Shirelles - well, all of them really;...

Meaning, "I like all music/all songs that are Punk or New Wave", you could also reword this to "I like songs Punk or New Wave, all of them."
