As far as I know:
Really: It means "realmente", "muito" in portuguese (e é usado comumente no meio das frases). Ex: He is really Kind.
Indeed: It means "de fato","mesmo" in portuguese (usado no fim de frases) .Ex: He is kind indeed.
I think "Really" is commonly used in USA and "Indeed" in UK.
I've never seen an American speaking "indeed".
