I saw it on Robot Chicken (A TV series).
In this episode, there's a sketch where two lego toy-man go to a Playmobil mansion (a parody to the Playboy Mansion) and there they meet Hugh Hefner with his 3 girlfriends. Hugh Hefner begins to talk about his schedule for the week and then they come to the following phrase:
Sunday afternoons are when we do our quilting bee.
Question is, what does Quilting Bee means?
I searched through Wikipedia but I still don't get it.

"Quilting" é bordado. "Bee" refere-se ao trabalho coletivo das abelhas. Podemos bem imaginar Hugh Hefner fazendo bordados com as abelhinhas, né?
