Usos da preposição "Among"

Hi dudes!

I'm a new english student and yesterday I was thinking in the place's prepositions (specially "among"). I've been a little problem to memorize and sometimes it's driving me crazy. Also, I ever make a confusion with "between. "Can you help me sending some sentences which it use is more common?
