Como dizer "Beijos, um beijão" em inglês

Dicas:

Observe.

1. Love, Lia.(Beijos, Lia.)
2. Lots of love, Daysie.(Um beijão, Daysie.)

Bons estudos.

Hello !

Hey Donay,

There is this TV Show that I've been watching, its name is Gossip Girl, and in the end of every episode the "Gossip Girl" always says:

"X.O. X.O., Gossip Girl"

I'd really like to know what that means

See ya

For the XML format, see XOXO.

Hugs and Kisses also known as Love and Kisses is a term for a sequence of the letters X and O, e.g. XOXO, typically to express affection or good friendship at the end of a written letter or email. [1] [2] [3] [4]

It is debatable which letter represents which act. One interpretation assumes that X represents the four lips of a kiss and O the four arms of a hug. For example, the Oxford English Dictionary states that X is "used to represent a kiss, esp. in the subscription to a letter."[5] Another interpretation assumes X as the crossed arms of a hug and O as the puckered lips of a kiss,[citation needed] as the order is normally spoken "Hugs and Kisses" which would correspond to the order that the x's and o's are written. Also, it could be said that the X's are the arms crossing during a hug, and the O's are the circular shape that two people make when kissing. Additionally, there is another interpretation, based on the pronunciation of the letters X (sounds like 'kiss') and O (sounds like 'hold', as in 'I hold you').

[Note: The following paragraph seems to draw upon customs in a certain part of the (ancient) world for its interpretation of XOXO. It does not, however, state this explicitly.]
Wow

A lot of interpretations Oo

Thank you !
Donay, duas dúvidas tenho:

Bons estudos.

No, this might pass the wrong idea.

Hi guys,
Donay, in England years ago we just used XXX at the end of written mesages which meant kisses

The cultural differences in terms of touching etc mean that care needs to be taken when using terms like hugs and kisses. Such an ending might be strange to pepole who are not in the habit of hugging and kissing friends and family when meeting.

Tim :D
P.S. After twenty five years living here in Brazil I am still not 100% comfortable with guys (blokes) hugging and or kissing me. . . .?!?!?!?!?!?!

Hey everyone;

See ya.
