Depende do contexto: Ela conseguiu chegar ao hospital = Did she make it to the hospital ?

Ela conseguiu entender = was she able to understand ?

I asked her for a hammer, she got it ? (Did she get it ?)

ela cometeu um crime e conseguiu escapar = she committed a crime and got away with it

ela conseguiu vencer sua doença = she got over the illness=she overcame the illness.

and so on....
