Como dizer "O cão é a cara do dono" em inglês

Há poucos dias, perguntei como era "isto é a sua cara!", e resonderam que é "It's so you!"

Mas penso que no contexto em que perguntas, estás falando de semelhança física, estou certa? Eu diria sua frase assim:

"Dog and owner look alike (so much)"

E tem a expressão "cara de um, focinho de outro": be like two peas in a pod.

"Dog and owner are like two peas in a pod".

De qualquer forma, não sei se pode ser usado na comparação do comportamento de um cão e seu dono. Talvez possa ser ofensivo... eu acho.

Fica meio "diferente" dizer isto,mas se for em relação a semelhança física:Be the spitting image of

The dog is the spitting image of its owner.(Funny... )
The dog resembles its owner very closely.(Semelhança em geral.)>>Mais formal na minha opinião.
The dog is very much like its owner.(Semelhança em geral.)>>Mais comum.

Existe uma outra forma, que pode ser substituído na expressão a seguir: like father, like son, substitui - se por: ("like owner, like dog.")
