Como e quando utilizar "There has / have / had been"

Como muitos aqui, estudo por conta própria. Comprei um livro bem focado na gramática fundamental do inglês, onde encontrei o seguinte exercício:

1. Faça como o modelo:
A man is standing at the door.
a)there is a man standing at the door.
b) is there a man standing at the door?
c) yes, there is a man standing at the door.
d) No, there's not a man standing at the door.
e) No, there isn't.

8 - Many phony facts had been spread through the internet.

Minhas respostas:
a) There had been many phony facts through the Internet.
b) ?
c) yes, there had been many phony facts through the Internet.
d) Yes, there had been.
e) No, there had not been many phony facts through the Internet
f) No, there hadn't.


Eu não soube como formular a pergunta requerida no exercício. E realmente, não faço ideia de como seria.

Vocês podem me ajudar formulando algumas frases com "there have"?
Pra começar, eu nem entendi muito bem pra quê usar. Deve ter uma maneira mais simples de dizer o mesmo,
mas qual?
