The same place - past and present

The street where I live changed a little bit over the years. In the past, it was not paved and there were few buildings around. Also, the neighborhood was very quite and the car traffic was almost absent. Nowadays, it is the main commercial area of the naighborhood and there are a lot of shops and buildings around. Moreover, the car traffic is so high that sometimes its difficult to take the car on/off the garage.
