Correção de frase "has been accepted"
Hello friends, I have a doubt about this sentence, I could understand what it meant, but at the same time, I don't know why its structure was supposed to have the present perfect, since it talks about a situation that is going to happen in the future:
Ex: He has been accepted a promotion whether or not he decides to transfer overseas.
I imagine that the first written in bold should be something like this:
He will accept a promotion whether or not he decides to transfer overseas
This sentence belongs to my grammar book and I could understand the use of has been accepted, seeing that it's a future situation!!
Could you help me, please?
Thanks in advance!
Regards!
