Going to past (Indirect Speech)

Estava olhando uma frase no discurso direto e não tenho certeza de como colocá-la no discurso indireto. A frase é a seguinte:

"I was going to buy my lunch with this"

Pensei, se fosse no past continuous "I was buying my lunch", o discurso indireto seria She had been buying her lunch, past perfect continuous. Jogando essa ideia para a primeira frase, ficaria She had been going to buy her lunch with that, o que achei estranho. Vocês sabem qual seria a melhor forma, ou se essa estrutura, going to-past, no discurso indireto não muda?

Desde já agradeço.

Hey there!

Direct Speech
He said: "I was going to buy my lunch with this". - It is already in Past Continuous Tense

Reported Speech

Example 1:
He said he was going to buy his lunch with that. In reported speech, we just keep the tense and change the subject and object.

Example 2:
He said he had been going to buy his lunch with that. Or change the tense into Past Perfect Continuous.
Thanks for your answers, guys! It helped me :)
