Must no Passado

Hi,

Read the below phrase: "You must do something."

How could I put it in the past?

Or in portuguese: "Você deve/tem que fazer isso."

Quero escrever: "Você devia (obrigatoriamente) ter feito isso."

The only thing I thought is: You had to have done something. Is it correct? Are there other options?
