Ano Novo - algumas expressões

Estou tentando fazer um mensagem de Fim de ano com um sentido de "networking" .. e me surgiu umas dúvidas em algumas expressões...

Vou colocar em negrito que o que não estou certa:

A New Year means another start for new hopes, higher aspirations and greater possibilities.

It´s the perfect time to send my warmest wishes and express my sincere appreciation for the relationship we’ve been building.

May every day of 2010 bring you a reason to celebrate and connect with people!

Duvida 1: Nessa parte que coloquei "express my sincere appreciation for the relationship we’ve been building." soa estranho?? Ou é melhor " the relationship we have" ?
Ou é melhor outra coisa?? rs
Esta é uma mensagem que um executivo enviará para os mais diversos contatos que tem..

Dúvida 2: Esse "connect with people" está correto? Queria dar um sentido de fazer mais contatos.. aumentar o networking.. etc.
Tem alguma outra expressão que se encaixe melhor?
