Como dizer "bateria de curta duração" em inglês

Eu sei que se pode falar "short battery life", mas queria saber se isso pode ser abreviado pra simplesmente "short battery" ou se isso soa estranho.

Concordo com o Márcio. "Short-life battery" é uma opção adequada. Recomendo usá-la.

Short battery would sound odd. More so, when there are at least two things that people would think, namely, if you refer to short battery life or short battery charge.
-Short battery life to a battery with a short-lived duration, that is, before it needs recharging.
-Short battery charge, to me, would be the recharging taking less time. Albeit many people are now using "short battery charge" for "short battery charge life" which would be the same as the previous definition (short battery life).
It perhaps doesn´t sound downright awkward, but not natural to me.
