Como dizer "bem trabalhados" em inglês

Estou falando com um amigo aqui, e eu quero falar que os discos dos anos 60 são bem mais trabalhados do que os dos anos 50.

"Much better crafted" works better than "more well crafted".

I am right here/right now with a friend of ours/a friend of mine, and I want to point out/to say that in my opinion the records of the 60´s were more well crafted than those of the
50´s.
My stab at it, sans context as it came I supposed it was something like a radio presenter on air, talking in person with a guy or taking a phone call.
The friend of ours/a friend of mine, set´s the friendly tone to let his guest or (phone) caller at ease. Then comes the questions or the interview...
By the way, I couldn´t be precisely about what the "well more crafted" records were meant, if the songs, the making (of them), the covers, or the soundtracks themselves.
Plenty of possibilities...!
