"Hush" is a relatively polite word. It is often used when speaking to a child. "Hush my mouth!" is similar in meaning to "You don't say! I didn't know that! Really?

Note that "Hush my mouth!" does not mean that you want the other person to be quiet. On the contrary, you are literally asking that person to make you be quiet. Again, it is often used to me "Não me diga!"

The usual expression is "Shut up!" It is rude but common. In current slang, it is used much like "Hush my mouth!" and is NOT considered rude.

I"m getting married!"
"Shut up! When is the big day?"

Other expressions for telling another person to stop talking are:
Shut your trap!
Shut your pie hole!

Here "hush my mouth" means "Excuse me" ironically, and sometimes, when say that, you slap your mouth slightly and repeatedly
