What I pretty sure is often used is - to nag someone to do something (pegar no pé de alguém para que eles façam algo) -
My boyfriend keeps nagging me to stop trying to go on a diet.
To nag someone about something - My boyfriend always nags me about my diet.
Eu também entendo o uso do 'nag' como algo que 'enche o saco'...
