Hot spot = "point". O termo point não existe em inglês neste contexto.
Examples:
a)This is the city's hot spot for drinking and dancing. (Este é o "local" aqui na cidade onde as pessoas se divertem bebendo e dançando.)
b) Are there any hot spots around here? (Tem algum "lugar maneiro"por aqui?)
