First of all, some people makes distinction between sunblock and sunscreen given their functions.
Sunblock (bloqueador solar) having Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide as the main ingredient, and its denser/thicker.
Sunscreen (alguns preferem aqui "filtro solar", outros dizem "protetor solar" para diferenciar do bloqueador solar.)
Anyway to the beachgoer or people exposed to the sun it may be used interchangeably, in Brazil, people say "protetor solar" interchangeably (to both

As for the sentence "Passar no rosto e em todo corpo o filtro solar para se proteger dos raios ultravioletas."
You can say
"apply/use sunscreen (or sunblock) all over your body to protect yourself of UV-rays."
"apply/use/rub sunscreen (sunblock) on the sun-exposed areas of your body, mainly the back of your hands, on the "V" of the neck, arms, forearms, face, chest etc.
Be careful, though on the use, don´t squeeze a giant blob and rub it on the face, instead just dot it and rub it with the tip of the fingers.
And of course, don´t squeeze the bottle directly onto your face direction.
