It turned out there were actually lots of people I hadn't dance with yet, and that gave me a chance truly compose and resolve myself. When Edward claimed me again, I found that the Jacob-drawer was shut and tight. (She was in the house again and had discussed with Jacob).

Rennée and Esme were waiting upstairs. The three of them quickly had me out of my dress and into Alice's deep blue going-away ensemble. I was grateful when someone pulled the pins out of my hair and let it fall loose down my back, wavy from a hairpin headache later.

The car was decorated with more flowers that trailed in streamers along it enough, and long gossamer ribbons that were tied to a dozen shoes - designer shoes that looked grand-new - dancing behind the bumper.(This was the car newlyweds (recém casados) )

These're my translations. I wanted know if I wrong something. As always, the hightlighted expressions are my questions.

It turned out there were actually lots of people I hadn't dance with yet, and that gave me a chance truly compose and resolve myself. When Edward claimed me again, I found that the Jacob-drawer was shut and tight.

The three of them quickly had me out of my dress and into Alice's deep blue going-away ensemble. I was grateful when someone pulled the pins out of my hair and let it fall loose down my back, wavy from a hairpin headache later.

The car was decorated with more flowers that trailed in streamers along it enough, and long gossamer ribbons that were tied to a dozen shoes - designer shoes that looked grand-new - dancing behind the bumper.

--> Não tem um "to" depois de "chance" no texto em inglês?
--> compose myself = me acalmar;
--> resolve myself = ? --> help, people
--> pergunta: ela estava dançando com o Jacob?

Nice job writing this complicated text! congratulations!

Let me try to help with some of the expressions.

It turned out there were actually lots of people I hadn't danced with yet, and that gave me a chance to truly compose and resolve myself. When Edward claimed me again, I found that the Jacob-drawer was shut and locked. (She was in the house again and had an argument with Jacob).

Rennée and Esme were waiting upstairs. The three of them quickly had me out of my dress and into Alice's deep blue going-away ensemble. I was grateful when someone pulled the pins out of my hair and let it fall loose down my back, wavy from a hairpin headache later. (I agree that this sentence seems to be missing a part). "Traveling ensemble" is correct.

The car was decorated with more flowers that trailed along in streamers behindit , and long gossamer ribbons that were tied to a dozen shoes - designer shoes that looked brand-new - dancing behind the bumper.(This was the newlyweds' car, recém casados ).

*"Had discussed" would need an object (what did they discuss?). But 'discuss' is a false cognate. In English 'discuss' is not to have a verbal fight--it is just a serious conversation. An aruguent is a 'fight' or disagreement.
Thanks Flávia and maryziller. About excerpt (I think I forgot some words like you've said, maryziller and Flávia).

It turned out there were actually lots of people I hadn't danced with yet, and that gave me a chance to truly compose and resolve myself. When Edward claimed me again, I found that the Jacob-drawer was shut nice and tight.

The three of them quickly had me out of my dress and into Alice's deep blue going-away ensemble. I was grateful when someone pulled the pins out of my hair and let it fall loose down my back, wavy from the braids, saving me from a hairpin headache later.

The car was decorated with more flowers that trailed in streamers along its lenght, and long gossamer ribbons that were tied to a dozen shoes - designer shoes that looked brand-new - dancing behind the bumper.

Sorry my wrongs. I hope the correct phrases can help in translation.

Olá Marky

revendo o segundo parágrafo, apenas modifico o seguinte:

Additional comments:

- Don't say "sorry my wrongs". Say: "I'm sorry for my mistakes". À propósito, leia esse texto aqui: https://www.englishexperts.com.br/nao-d ... thank-you/

- Use "sentence" qdo quiser se referir à "frase".

Keep up your very good work!
Thanks Flávia and continue correcting me !
