O que significa “darn good” e “darn lucky''?

No sétimo episódio da série Simpsons encontrei as duas frases abaixo e estou com dificuldade de entendê-las devido às palavra “darn good” e “darn Lucky”.
1- It looks as if you girls have been getting along all right, but it's a darn good thing we found you when we did
2- You are darn lucky we got here in time to rescue you

It's also a replace for "damn". Since damn has a whole religious thing with it, some people will use "darn" instead.

''Darn'' is used to emphasize what one says. It is less harsh than ''damn'.
Ex) There's not a damn thing you can do about it now. = It means there's nothing at all you can do about it.

Hey! DARN é usado pra enfatizar, significa ''very''

You are darn lucky we got here in time to rescue you=você teveuma sorte imensa de nós chegarmos aqui a tempo de te resgatar.

Darn lucky - muito sortudo/tem (ou teve) muita sorte.
You know darn well that they are honest and completely reliable.
Sabes perfeitamente que eles são cúmplices e de confiança duvidosa.

Também poderia dizer "Você sabe muito bem que eles são cúmplices e de confiança duvidosa." ou até "Você sabe mais do que ninguém..." (a bit of a stretch here, but depending on context it could be this way.)
