Olá T@eta,
Vc acertou em dizer que depende do verbo, e do significado pretendido:
"Let´s go on to the next page." Vamos à pagina seguinte
"You´re going about it the wrong way." Vc está fazendo isso de maneira errada.
Regards

yeah, it depends on the verb. For instance: I've taken too much work on recently. we are just about to start. I find English prepositions very hard to get.

Mas, no seu exemplo, não há necessidade de nenhuma preposição:
"I want to discuss this topic."

Hi, guys, thanks for your answers!
Yes, Henry, you´re right! I´ve just checked out about the verbs discuss... it´s not necessary to use any prepositions here....
By the way, I was reading a topic you wrote and you said : "I call him back in the next two days". In this case, is it necessary to use in??
Have a nice week, and thank you very much for your brilliant explanations!

It´s me again....
I was think about this sentence:
A book about motorcycles.
Is my sentence right if I use on? Do they have the same meaning?

Olá T@ta,
A preposição "on" é possível neste caso e tem o mesmo sentido.
Boa sorte!
