Set back: Como utilizar

Hello folks.

I was listening a postcast of English studies, and I've listened:

"how much does it set me back?"
It's the same of "how much does it cost?"


But I don't remember if it's "set me back" or "set back", and I'm not sure about the building of the sentence.



Could somebody help me, pls? ^^
