Pessoal, estou tentando ler um livro em inglês, e tenho uma dúvida na seguinte frase.
"The stranger did not enter the old Narakort.
O estranho não entrou no velho Narakor.
A minha pergunta é pq o autor não usou o IN, antes do "the old Narakort"
Observei isso em várias frases do livro.

Good question! Basically this is one of those sentences in which the preposition can be left out (and it is).
When you omit the preposition and the meaning does not change, or you feel that it isn´t fundamental to the comprehension then you can omit it.
Your example is a case in point, since we can figure that when someone "enter" he enters "in/inside". Not always, but this is a case in point.
