For that matter - Tradução em português

2 8 111
Hi friends,
I'd like to know what is the meaning of for that matter, in the text below

If you don't identify yourself, the person at the other end of the line will probably ask who you are. This might be because people are inundated daily by salespeople, prank callers, and all sorts of other unwanted calls. They want to make sure that you're not one of them (or, for that matter, their mother-in-law, boss, or landlord).

Thaks a lot.

Exemplos:

I didn't like it much. Nor did the kids, for that matter. (Oxford)
Eu não gostei muito. Aliás, nem as crianças.

Ming's never been to Spain, or to any European country for that matter
. (Cambridge)

He doesn't like young women, or any women for that matter. (Macmillan)

They want to make sure that you're not one of them (or, for that matter, their mother-in-law, boss, or landlord).

;)
