Seize the Day - Tradução em português

Hello folks =) Look this sentence > ''Seize the day or die regreting the time you lost...'' That's from 'Seize the day' by avenged sevenfold. Em todos os sites de tradução está como 'Aproveite o dia' e faz realmente sentido já que a tradução literal seria algo como> ''Agarre-se ao dia'' . So, Which would be the best translation? I have not found any more examples with that use of 'Seize'.
