To Get/be out of breath/Out of wind - Breathing fast and hard; Gasping for Breath.
Ex: Danielle got out of breath after eavesdropping on his parents conversation.
Ex: You'd better not to run so fast! You're going to get out of wind.
Time to catch/get/give one's breath - Enough time to relax and behave normally.
Ex: Your mom was so busy inviting people over to the party that she just forgot to catch her breath.
Ex: Why don't you get your breath? There's so much time left.
All/in one breath - Spoken very rapidly, usually while one is excited.
Ex: Shanna told me about her trip to France all in one breath.
Ex: I hate when she speaks about boys in one breath.
Save one's breath. - Fig. to refrain from talking, explaining, or arguing.
Ex: There's no way of trying to convince her. I think you'd better save your breath.
Ex: Tell her to save her breath. James won't listen to her.
