Como dizer "Estruturar-se emocionalmente" em Inglês

I'm not sure if I translated this sentence correctly:

...para nos estruturar e nos estabilizar emocionalmente, temos que colocar limites.

Translation: In order for us to build an emotional structure and become emotionally stabilized, we have to set boundaries.

I wonder if "structure ourselves" is an option, because I have researched and found nothing like that. Is "build an emotional structure" natural?
