Como dizer "Eu só estava comentando" em inglês

Hoje quis usar essa frase em uma conversa com minha manager.

Tem um caso de Corona Vírus no Hotel que eu trabalho e eu disse:

-... About that Coronavirus case, I think that it is in the kitchen, because everybody there is wearing a mask...

-No, it is not there, I can't tell you though.

(we were having kind of a rough discussion before, so she said that a little upset. And then I answered)

-OKAY! Okay... EU SÓ ESTAVA COMENTANDO... (tipo, take it easy okay...)
