Stretcher Cars: – Carros-maca, usados nos campos de golfe e atualmente nos campos de futebol.
Os esforçados stretcher bearers (maqueiros ou padioleiros em inglês) que a gente vê nos gramados, nos campos da várzea são escolhidos por seus portes físicos e força física, sem nenhum conhecimento da profissão.
Os maqueiros, também conhecidos por padioleiros, têm sua profissão como atendente de enfermagem, (Maqueiro de hospital, Maqueiro hospitalar, Padioleiro-enfermeiro) regulamentada e regulada por Lei.
