Como eu digo “pitaco” em inglês?
Como: dar conselhos ou palpites sem serem solicitados ou sem serem capacitados para tanto. Enxerimento...
Frases:
"most people just come up with preposterous suggestions for ELT in Brazil" (= a maioria das pessoas apenas dão pitacos no ensino de língua inglesa no Brasil). Ou seja, muita gente não está levando a profissão a sério e dão sugestões sem crédito algum.

"Pitaco" has a ring of "offering intrusive opinion", on part of the infamous backseat driver.
One other context is "to be said what to do", in the case of you being a video game player and the "armchair gamer" or "backseat gamer" be trying to talk you into making some move. "Telling you how to play".
