Ser do ramo significa que a pessoa já possui experiência prestando determinado serviço.

One way to express that (among many others) is "Don´t worry, he always fix my computer, he has good experience and knowledge with repairs and installation of programs".
And other one: "Don´t worry [1] about your PC. He has many years of experience under with installation and repairs under his belt, take it easy".
[1] don´t fret about... (if you want it a bit more colloquial/slangy or even dramatic...)

It could be more specific too, it could be a number, for example "he have been working with installation/configuration and repairs for over 20 years..."
